The Master's degree in Journalism is awarded on the completion of a two-year programme combining technical skills (radio, TV, press and multimedia) and thematic specialisation ( c urrent issues facing the European Union, urban transformations, France and Germany in the European area). This degree is recognized by the Commission nationale paritaire de l'emploi des journalistes , a national commission bringing together journalists unions and media owners. Classes are taught by lecturers, researchers and professional journalists; they focus on the production of newspapers, magazines or reports published and broadcasted through dedicated media, as well as regional or national media.
Journalism students are given the opportunity to enroll in a Franco-German double degree programme in partnership with the Frankreich-Zentrum ? University of Freiburg.
