A new German volunteer for Eucor - The European Campus

Originally from Saxony-Anhalt, the young German graduate Anne-Pauline Piper has been a Franco-German volunteer at the University of Strasbourg * since 14 September.

Anne-Pauline takes over from Anna David, who during the academic year 2016-2017 was the first German volunteer at the University of Strasbourg to benefit from the Franco-German Voluntary Programme in Higher Education, sponsored by the French-German Youth Office.

For ten months, Anne-Pauline Piper will raise Strasbourg students' awareness on the possibilities of mobility to German-speaking countries, and more specifically to the German and Swiss universities of the European campus. She will work with colleagues on the European campus and the Future Space to inform students about existing exchange programmes and fellowships and to advise them on internship opportunities and employment opportunities in German-speaking countries. She will also present the University of Strasbourg's Franco-German training offer to Alsatian high school students. Lastly, she will be in charge of organising cross-border student life facilitation by organising the second edition of the Eucor-Festival, a cultural event for students of the five member universities of the European campus, to be held in spring 2018 in Strasbourg.

To carry out her assignments, she will work with two other volunteers: Warren Fleurot, a French volunteer at the Kalrsruher Institut für Technologie and Anna Seeger, a German volunteer at the Crous de Strasbourg.
